The Community Ride for Safe Cycling is an event to bring together Maribyrnong residents who want to see improved cycling infrastructure in our city.
Join us 10AM Saturday March 13, 2021 at West Footscray Slow Food Market (come at 9am for breakfast)(Happy Receptions at 199 Sunshine Road) for a ride down Ashley, Barkly & Hopkins Streets, finishing in Moreland Street out the front of the Inner West Community Bike Hub, to highlight and call for fixing of danger spots and promote the environmental, social and health benefits of cycling.
EARLY BIRD’s will be meeting at 9AM. The Wefo Slow Food Market are kindly providing a FREE BREAKFAST for riders.
The ride will officially start at 10am.
We will marshal the event to ensure safety of participants.
BYO Snacks for a picnic on the lawns near the Footscray Community Arts Centre.
This event is supported by Bike West, Victorian Socialists, the local Greens & Extinction Rebellion Westside.
